Co-founder of the organization SOLA Pomáhá, which opened public debate in the Czech Republic on the issue of period poverty – a topic long overlooked, despite affecting the health, dignity, and opportunities of thousands of women and girls.

Period poverty means not only the lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, but also to information and a safe environment during menstruation. It affects single mothers, women experiencing homelessness, refugees, and young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds – many of whom miss school or are too ashamed to ask for help.

Lu Gregorová brings the voices of women whose needs have been ignored into the public space. Her work combines activism, empathy, and strategic thinking – she is able to mobilize the public and put pressure for systemic change. Under her leadership, SOLA distributes menstrual products to shelters, schools, libraries, and community centers.
