Smart Czechia is a unique multimedia project created through the partnership of Aktuálně.cz and the Česká spořitelna Foundation. For several years now, they have been successfully bringing key topics of Czech education and the future of learning closer to the public. Each year, the project reaches around 1 million readers.

Thanks to the combination of the journalistic work of Aktuálně.cz and the support of the Česká spořitelna Foundation, a wide range of articles, reports, analyses, podcasts, and video debates have been created, opening up public discussion about the state of the Czech education system. Smart Czechia focuses on essential challenges such as curriculum reform and the development of students’ key competencies, while also highlighting often overlooked topics—financial and media literacy, disinformation, and mental health. The project has become a major source of inspiration for teachers, parents, and the wider public.
