JRD Group and the Via Foundation have joined forces to create the Sustainable Living Fund – a grant programme that supports local projects focused on the environment and community cohesion in areas where JRD builds its residential developments.

The fund offers direct support to neighbourhood initiatives – from planting greenery and improving public spaces to organising community events. For example, it has already supported the Čmelák association, which restores damaged natural sites, and the community of Barefoot Carmelites in Drasty, who, together with volunteers, are transforming an unused courtyard into a shared garden for local residents.

This joint approach between a corporate developer and the non-profit sector demonstrates that everyone can help shape their environment – and that even new residential areas can be developed with respect for both people and nature.
