The World Unseen project connects the world of photography with the world of people with visual impairments. The Český rozhlas Foundation – Světluška brought in-depth knowledge of the needs of people with visual disabilities, Czech Photo contributed curatorial expertise, and Canon provided the relief printing technology that allows photographs to be experienced through touch.
The exhibition enables blind visitors to “read” images with their fingers, while sighted visitors experience a new way of perceiving art. This joint project breaks down barriers, fosters empathy, and proves that art can truly be accessible to everyone – when technology, empathy, and creativity come together.
